On March 31, a meeting between representatives of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia and entrepreneurs employed in the tea sector was held at the Anaseuli Diagnostic Center for Integrated Soil, Food and Plant Protection in Ozurgeti Municipality.

   They also discussed the possibility of easing labor-intensive operations in Georgian tea plantations by using picking machines, and the country's experience in this regard, the prospects for the development of Georgian mecha and the prospects for improving the social situation of farmers employed in the sector.
   Participants were informed about the work done in the tea sector by the Anaseuli Tea and Subtropical Crops Research Service.
   An exhibition of tea products and inspection of picking machines was organized.
